Faculty Spotlight: Dr. Daniel Almeida

Daniel Almeida, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LABA-MA, is the Program Director of both the Ph.D. in ABA program and the MEd Autism and Behavior Analyst program at Cambridge College. With over 30 years in the field, Dr. Almeida has served as an ABA practitioner, school administrator, college professor and staff trainer. 

Dr. Almeida has published a number of research articles in various industry journals over the years and also presented his work at national conferences. His expertise is sought after in the industry. For example, he was recently asked to review an article for the highly respected journal “Behavior Analysis in Practice” where some of his research was previously published. 

Like many Cambridge College faculty members, Dr. Almeida is a scholar/practitioner. In addition to chairing ABA programs and teaching at Cambridge College, he continues working in the ABA field as Executive Vice President of Clinical Services and Graduate Study at Beacon ABA Services.
