Bridges by EPOCH names executive director

Doreen Lang [MM '02]

Doreen Lang [MM ‘02] was recently appointed executive director of Bridges by EPOCH Memory Care Assisted Living at Hingham.

In her role as executive director, Lang will oversee all operational aspects of the community, including its programs, care and services. Lang will also focus on providing ongoing education and support to staff and families.

With 15 years' experience in property and sales management, Lang has held such roles as senior regional manager and vice president of Property Management in senior living communities. Prior to joining Bridges by EPOCH, Lang served as a general manager of operations. In this role, she oversaw the operation of over 900 revenue-producing rental homes and received the Property of the Year award from Hometown America LLC for revitalizing those properties and reducing costs for the company.

Lang was a past speaker for the Mass-ALA annual conference and is also an accomplished author. Her published books include "Hang on to Your Stars. The First 90 Days: A Step-by Step Employee Engagement Solution for the Senior Living Community" in 2017, "How to Drive Employee Retention in the First 90 Days" in 2018 and "Putting Differences to Work: Secrets from a Multi-Generational Workforce" in 2019.

"We have a talented group of professionals within our community and I value the contributions that every employee brings to creating and delivering on the unique Bridges philosophy and culture every day."

Lang has a Massachusetts real estate license, as well as a paralegal degree from Bentley University. She received a Bachelor of Science in education from UMASS Boston and a Master's Degree in management with an organizational development concentration from Cambridge College. She is currently a PhD candidate at Nova Southeastern University.
