Artist's Reception and Black History Month Discussion with Peter Bodge
As a part of the 2019 Arts and Culture Series and in celebration of Black History Month, Cambridge College Senior Faculty Member and Artist Peter Bodge joined members of the college community to discuss his vibrant and passionate works of art. Peter’s work highlights influential African American Jazz musicians from throughout the 20th century, and has a tendency to leap from the walls.
During his discussion, Peter spoke about the many ways in which African Americans and the African American experience throughout the 1900s crafted Jazz into the unique musical form it is today.
